Quality Materials and Easy to SetupI needed four new frames to replace the crappy ones that I had been using for my posters of Batman and Superman as they are depicted in BvS. The four previous ones, whose product name is "The MCS 65594 Original Poster Frame," are just cardboard backings that come with four removable cheap plastic strips (that tend to fall off) and a transparent plastic sheet.However, each of the SnapeZo Poster Frames has a backing that is made of plastic and to which four nonremovable aluminum edges are attached, and each one comes with two transparent plastic sheets (one of which is a spare).Furthermore, it is very easy to install posters into the SnapeZo frames; all that a person has to do is pop the edges of a frame into the opened position, place a poster onto the plastic backing, place a transparent plastic sheet over the poster, and then pop the edges into the closed position. 5Cheap packaging and sharp cornersThe box that packs the frame is not protected well enough, so my frame got a scratch on one of the edges. Also, 2 out of the 4 corners of the frame had sharp metal sticking out. They way they construct these snap frames, the two edges don t always close seamlessly. So one snap frame was sticking out a millimeter on both sides. That is enough to puncture ones skin in case of an accidental scraping, so definitely not something to have in a household with kids. This is unacceptable for a frame that is so expensive. 1Low profile, easy to use but big scratch on the see through coverI really loved this frame when I first opened it but as I removed the plastic film off of the cover, there was a huge scratch across the front acrylic cover. A big disappointment, after I installed our amazing picture from our vacation, it wasn't overly noticeable. Too much trouble to return and order another one. But for something brand new, there shouldn't be a scratch on the most important part, the front cover of your photo. Minus 3 big stars on this purchase. 2Amazing poster frameI got a huge poster at a party and plastic poster frames are complete garbage so I decided to spend a bit more on a metal frame. I had purchased two 18 x 24 frames from this company in the past so I knew this frame would be good quality. This frame is a pretty light weight while still feeling solid. I was actually worried that it would be too heavy since their 18 x 24 frames are on the heavy side. I love all the pre-drilled mounting holes already built in. It comes with one matte and one shiny poster protector and I think the matte version looks more "high-end" and more professional. 5Well made, unique design, sturdy, and protective of art.These are not your usual picture frames. They are designed to preserve and protect artwork. As well as display it nicely. Each side of the frame snaps open, so you can lay your art gently inside, cover it with the protective covering, and then just snap each side shut. The springs are very tight so they snap securely shut. It would be easy to change your picture of choice, for example, these would be great for children's art.They are the same vibrant colors in person as they show in the picture. I used them to display some of my mother's artwork, which is precious to us, and I could fee secure in placing her art in these. 4Easy and well made frame!This is the easiest picture frame I have ever had to deal with. It feels sturdy, looks well made, and was a cinch to maneuver!. Simply flip up each side of the frame, remove the backing, add your picture/poster, replace backing, flip sides back down and you are done. No annoying metal tabs to pry up or that easily loosen and slip out of place. I will definitely be purchasing more of these types of frames again as the need arises. 5It's a nice frame, but they have problems to work outThis is a nice looking frame, but there is a common complaint with them. They arrive with the "flexible PVC lens" damaged. Mine was the case also. Two corners had been crimped, and another had a good sized chunk missing. I have no idea if these lens are being put in damaged, or if they are damaged in transit, but the vendor needs to solve this problem.Many complain that the glare-free lens is not transparent enough, taking away some of the clarity and color of the poster. This is true. That turned out alright for me. It is a reproduction poster, and not a collectors item. I'm not worried about UV damage, so the lens was not used.The manufacturer claims the ability to change posters quickly, by simply "snapping" posters in. If it was laid flat on a table or floor, that would be true. The problem is that we are supposed to screw this frame to the wall, and the screws are under the snap down sides. It was a two-person job to hold a poster in place, and get the sides of the frame snapped down. Even then, there were several attempts to finally get it right.Mind you, this was simply installing a poster. Trying to place the lens over the top, would have increased the difficulty tremendously.If they created a different hanging system, so that the frame could be taken off the wall, the "snap" concept could work.WARNING: because of this issue, I would never consider using this frame for collector's quality posters. Too easy to damage them. 3Colors may varyThe frames are sturdy, you can tell that they are made with quality products and construction. The colors may vary, depending on what color you order. i purchased the 18x24 green frame, its a darker green than advertised and it was scratched from the screws becoming lose. I also purchased the 11x17 cream color. You must mount the frame before adding your print or poster, if youre going to screw the frame into the wall, since the frame is a few cmeters smaller on the inside..Unless you're going to use command strips, or the optional mounting hooks provided. You must be careful when snapping down the frame borders, since they have a powerful snap and hold the poster securely in place. I really like these frames, i wish i knew about them before i hung up multiple posters Around the house. 5Pleasantly surprised!I was pleasantly surprised at these frames.Back in November, I bought the 10-pack of Desert Bus posters so I could round out my collection. The day they arrived, I ordered 5 of these frames to see how they were. The posters are 11x15.5. The sides are very slightly cut off (Not terribly noticeable, mind), and there's a small, white gap above and below (which looks pretty good with these, I think). Assembly was brainless, mounting was just as easy.I'll be ordering the other 5 I need for the remaining posters soon. 5Beautiful, classy and high qualityI ordered this frame for a limited edition poster I received for a brand I work with in the technology space. I have a copy of this poster in my office and there is one at our HQ office in NYC. I needed a frame to make the brushed gold on the poster pop but I didn't want a shiny super yellow gold that would make it look gaudy or tacky. This is the perfect frame! The color shown on the listing is an accurate representation of the color of the frame. The front snaps open and you can layer posters behind the one displayed for safekeeping and switch them out as needed. The edges of the frame are pretty thick-make sure to check those measurements if you are looking for something more subtle because the frame will stand out itself at a distance. This is a quality frame that will last years, the snapping parts of the frame do not feel loose or cheap at all. We are going to be ordering a second one for our HQ office this week! 5
