    Stains quickly Had it a month and it is stained. I wondered about a white mat showing stains, but figured it was made for sink use so it must be stain resistant. Nope. And it stains on the top, in round dots where there are feet underneath. Maybe a manufacturing issue or design flaw. 3Highly recommend I've been using this mat for around a month now. It's very sturdy, protects the sink from dings and scratches (unfortunately our new place has white sinks). As with anything that's partially porous it can get stained by marinara, however if you don't let it sit there's not a problem. Just have to wash the dishes right away and not be lazy with things that may stain. Much better price than Lowes or target for this size even. 5The mats are OK otherwise but Rubbermade quality control is not the best. Still looking for a true matching pair of ... I have been trying to get 2 of these that are the same matching white color. They all are varying shades of off white, inconsistent and don't match. The mats are OK otherwise but Rubbermade quality control is not the best. Still looking for a true matching pair of these or another style/brand that will do the job. I wish someone at Rubbermade was listening to their customers and would manufacture the old style of sink mats and dish drain trays. It would be worth the price to be able to get the previous quality of the older style. 3Stains..... This mat was bought about 4 weeks ago and looks horrible. It looks ok until you use it. Tomato sauce left red stains which can not be removed. Curry stains it yellow. Horrible. Don't bother buying this mat. 1A Great Mat For The Money! Got this for my 85 year old mom, who never spends any money on anything if she can help it. She was raised in the generation that never threw anything away. But her sink mat had finally bit the dust. So she asked me to find her a new one. I got on Amazon and typed in Rubbermaid sink mat, and found this. I figured it was about the right size for her small sink....and sure enough, it was. In fact, it was the same exact sink mat that she was replacing. I cannot recall how many years she had that old mat but it had to be at least 6-7 years. We all know that Rubbermaid is a great brand. You should have seen mom's eyes light up when she saw this new mat. This one is high quality and will probably last her another 6-7 years if not longer. A great mat for the money! Highly recommend! 5Better quality than what I bought locally i finally decided to buy online for this item. The last few times I had bought the _same brand_ of mat at a certain Big Box store the quality was very poor. Although I keep a very clean kitchen I had mold forming on the mats nearly overnight with the ones from Big Box. NOT SO with these i bought through Amazon. These are quality mats and true Rubbermaid. The surface resists stains very well and I do a good clean on them but I don't find mold forming all the time. All I can say is buy online for this item and forget Big Box. The price is about the same anyway. 5Rubbermaid never lets me down I was hesitant to order these due to the comments by other buyers. I threw caution to the wind and ordered a set. Well let me tell you, I AM SUPER GLAD I DID!! They were and are exactly what I wanted. They are not too stiff or too floppy soft. They are just perfect. They are lifted up just enough that when I rinse my sink out, everything that's underneath gets washed down the drain. The price was better than other sink mats out there too. You won't be disappointed if you order these. I ordered the small ones and are almost perfect for my sink. I truly am happy with them. 5Poor design I cannot lean anything, such as plates or bowls, against my sink wall because this sink mat is too slippery and the slits are not wide enough. I'm going back to the OXO Good Grips Sink Mat, my last one going 4 years before it needed replacement due to staining. 1... used his for over a month and am very happy. No cracks I have used his for over a month and am very happy. No cracks, it protects well and have zero complaints thus far. It can stain but if you just wash the dishes instead of leaving them then there's no problem. We eat pasta often and as such have marinara stains waiting to happen in our white sinks so we don't leave dishes to sit. There can be a slight discoloration, however if it bothers you a small dot of soft scrub and a little brush do the trick in seconds. 5Great Product, Color, Improvement Compelled to leave feedback since I wasn't expecting to like these mats as much as the ones Rubbermaid used to sell almost 10 years ago, but I have to say that I am quite happy with them. We did have to trim the length a little to fit perfectly in the bottom of our sink, but that was pretty easy. The best part is the little nubs on the bottom are high enough that they allow small food particles to be rinsed down the drain instead of getting caught under the mat (which was the case with the old mats). Also, these mats seem to repel stains. Spaghetti sauce can quickly leave a stain (which I usually need to bleach out), but so far, I haven't seen a stain. If you're considering whether to buy these, do it. 5
