    Enjoy you some dang bacon greaseNow I can have bacon grease anytime of the day. Four out of five cardiovascular surgeons will tell you you re an idiot for having this thing. But, who cares what they think. Enjoy you some dang bacon grease. You re just shaving off the ugly years anyhow. YOLO. 5Great product but metal filter is poorly designed.I was really happy with this product when I first got it. It looks nice on the counter and functionally seems like it would work well with bacon grease, and other greases from cooking. However, my only issue, and the one that drove me from 5 stars to 3 stars, is the mesh "filter" under the lid.The metal ring is just small enough to fall into the container. Sometimes I can have it perfectly balanced to not fall in, but the slightest bump drops the ring into the grease and needs to be fished out. This is less than ideal, and is a real pain in the butt. If the metal ring was 1/8" bigger it would fit nicely, but alas... it does not. Disappointed about that. Otherwise well built, solid, and looks nice. (Does get hot when hot oil poured in. Be careful of your counter tops) 3You need this if you want to save your greaseI purchased this when starting keto, everyone kept raving about how you needed to save your bacon grease and I thought this would work well instead of just a regular old mason jar since it had the metal strainer on it, and I was right. It works great. Looks nice on the counter top. I didn't grow up in a household where there were any particularly good cooks and of course none of them used bacon grease for anything, so I had no experience with saving or using it. But I'm glad I started. It makes it super handy to use in cooking, I reach for this now instead of olive oil when making eggs, sauteing and for brushing on veggies for roasting. The strainer on top works really well, catches all of the food bits and cleans off easily. I love it 5Poor quality control. Filter does not fit the container and falls through.The grease filter I received is too small relative to the diameter of the container, so much so such that the filter falls straight through to the bottom of the container with the slightest tap. It looks like I'm not a good number of other people have experienced this problem. Without this quality control problem, I'd probably rate it at least 4 out of 5. 1Perfect for storing bacon grease!This product was a great find for my keto diet. I love cooking with bacon and keeping the bacon grease was very difficult with random jars and ziploc bags. This product was shipped quickly and packaged well with no broken pieces. The opening was wide enough so it didn't hurt my hand to clean it. I recommend this product! 5very nice, just over 6 cupsI just received this. I measured it to make sure of the size. Filled it with 6 cups and still had room at the top. The strainer does sit in the top of the container and the lid fits over it. Not sure I will use it. I am the type of cook that will utilize the small pieces of bacon bits in my cooking too, just as if I was glazing a pan. All of it makes for flavoring the food. I had been looking for a container for my bacon grease; this one has a nice wide opening and can sit on the counter without being ostentatious. Great addition to any kitchen!! 5Love it! It's simplistic yet classic style allows you to put it on the counter without your guest even knowing what is inside. A little smaller than I expected which I was very happy about, fits perfectly on our counter. This made my Husband extremely happy since he was getting frustrated with having to use Drano down our kitchen sink drain. 5Was so happy to find thisWas looking for a solution to our bacon grease storage issue. My husband would keep it in a coffee mug with a tinfoil cover on the kitchen counter. Which made me crazy because the smell and appearance. Was so happy to find this! Quality is as expected, looks great sitting out on the counter and the mesh strainer is a big plus. Wish it was a bit smaller, but couldn t find one with the dimensions I was hoping for.
