    Beautiful and holds more than the average - but not sturdyI've searched long and wide to find an organizer that would help organize my liquor and/or wine.PROs:-Elegant-holds 12 items-great price-doesn't look cluttered when filledCONs:-Wobbly base (I suggest buying small stabilizers to adhere to one of the bottom corners)-goes together like a Jenga puzzle, so the shelves slide in and out as such, making it not very stable (I suggest gluing it together) 3Elegant, Functional & Space-SavingLove it! The design is simple and elegant. The assembly is so straightforward that a 10 year-old can put it together in less than 30 minutes. I, as an amateur handywoman, took 5 minutes. Literally 5 minutes. Two steps:1) Connect the 8 pieces using the provided pictures in the instructions booklet2) Put in 4 pegs and 4 screws for the bottom pieces (yes, you need a screwdriver)It can't get any easier but there seems to be a lot of bird-brained people out there. For example, the complaints on here are pretty funny:1) "Boo hoo, the pieces don't fit together." Ever heard of sand paper. This a wood product and it's not perfect. Better tight than loose. Ha, that's what she said. Seriously though, most wood furniture assembly requires some sanding. This is no different.2) "Boo hoo, it's wobbly." Um, did you tighten the screws and put in pegs correctly? There should be no gaps when checking the perpendicular pieces and the screws should screw in smoothly. Once connected properly, the pieces should be level.3) "Boo hoo, the horizontal pieces keep falling out." You either did not tighten the screws or you put some pieces in backwards. The horizontal pieces have cuts on opposite sides. If assembled correctly and tightly, there is no way those fitted pieces can come out.4) "Boo hoo, it chips easily." Use a sharpie and call it a day. Or if you have wood stainer lying around, that should make any chips nearly unnoticeable. I can assure you no one is studying your $20 wine rack.5) "Boo hoo, it's very difficult to assemble." Really?! We're talking about 10 small wood pieces. There's no helping you.It baffles me that people can make the above complaints about a good $20 wine rack, delivered in 2 days! I, for one, love this thing and if you were looking for a real complaint, just know that it doesn't fit larger bottles, mostly champagne bottles. For the less initiated, it also doesn't work well with round or angular bottles. I have loaded this gem up with a full 12 bottles and there have been no problems. Most of all, it is a lot smaller than expected and is great for fitting under cabinets, under sink, or on a shelf. 5Attractive piece for the money.Aesthetically, I love this thing, I love how it looks. Its a slick-looking wine rack for a really reasonably price, and it's very attractive when it's full of wine.For me, putting it together was a bit of pain, pieces didn't always fit together properly, or were much too loose once in place. Needless to say, liberal use of glues was involved. It's solid and I'm not worried about it falling apart or about bottles sliding off of loose racks (but again, lot of glue was involved). That said, I love the purchase, and may get another when the price comes back down to the price point I purchased it at (about $17-18 for the Dark Espresso) but have to lose a star because assembly was much more involved than it needed to be. 4Great contemporary wine rackI have no idea why some folk have had problems assembling this rack. I had it together in about 6 minutes. It's very strudy, doesn't wobble, as others have said, and looks great. Very functional: holds 12 -750ml bottles with ease and takes up little counter space. I do recomend that if you get this rack to use a medium sized phillips screwdriver and at least look at the assembly instructions. I was stumped on how the slats fitted together until I went back to the instructions. After that: not a problem. I also found it easier to tighten the screws with the rack upside down on the floor. 5Patience required for assembly, overall goodFirst, I am only taking one star because it had a rough edge where upon opening the project out of the plastic, i got three splinters. It was in a corner on the base of the item and i was able to smooth it out with a little sanding and touch up with an ebony furniture marker- I cant tell it was ever there now. So, I give it still high marks because it is such a good design, sturdy, and really a perfect size. It took a minute to figure out how to put together and was easy once I did.. It doesnt come with instructions, it really should but dont think the slits are wrong just turn the pieces around and put the bottom on last. You sort of have to weave the piece into the slots like an s and then push them in. 4I had the same racks from different brands and they work beautifully, just add some wood glue before using screwsDear friends - if you assemble it correctly, it's not THAT flimsy but no, it can't hold bigger bottles. My problem was I RECEIVED A PACKAGE WITH ONE OF THE SIDE PANELS HAVING CUTOUTS FACING OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS! Look carefully at the picture they advertise, both vertical panels have 3 cutouts each facing the same way - so it will be 3 on the inside and 3 on the outside, that's the only way you can secure locking shelves. I bought it for my daughter birthday, and it's not enough that it is defective, I also need to pack it, drive to UPS store, etc., etc. If you want to risk it - such a disappointment and so much extra work - otherwise I'd buy from a different brand 1I love the style and it really works for me!I bought this on a whim. We have gotten into wine lately and I was tired of having wine bottles cluttered on my counter, so I wanted some kind of wine rack. I ordered this without measuring the distance between my counter and my kitchen cabinets. That was dumb on my part! But, I got away with one because it fits perfectly and looks so great! It doesn't hold bottles that are larger than normal, but it is perfect for regular sized wine bottles, which is most of what we have. For the price I was really impressed because I was not expecting much. 5Rickety Upon Assembly, Can be Fixed! Read BelowLove the rack, it is sleek and stylish and holds all my wines perfectly, assembly was simple even though I messed it up the first time it was easy to redo.You do get what you pay for though. The feet upon assembly with screws tightened fully, the feet become off-kilter. It threw me off at first and it seems like others have had the same problem. It can be fixed though. When the screws are fully tightened it becomes rickety and unleveled, therefore loosen the screws. Whichever side of the feet are off the surface you want to loosen those screws. This might take some trial and error to figure out the perfect amount of loosening required.For me there was a lift on both feet on opposite ends, once I loosened those it is great! almost perfectly level the rocker is gone and once the wines are on the rack it becomes further stabilized. If you need further clarification just ask and ill explain in further detail.Overall it is a good purchase if you don't mind having to tinker around with the engineering. 4Cheap, easy to build, looks goodThis was a relatively inexpensive wine rack. After searching around amazon and in stores, this was one of the cheapest options and it looked nice enough. It was super easy to build, although the directions left something to be desired. Just look at the pictures and you ll figure it out. I will say I m not super impressed with the sturdiness and durability. I would probably use wood glue to help remedy that, but on its own it s wobbly. It s fulfilling its purpose and is holding all 12 bottles I needed it to hold. Is small enough so it doesn t take up my whole bar, but it holds such a large number of bottles. If it was just a little more stable, this would be a 5 star product. You have to get a little creative and buy additional products to make this stable enough to use. If you re willing to do that, this is a great wine rack and looks amazing! 4The height is 3/4 inches higher than advertised!!!the quality is commensurate with the price. I broke one dowel putting it together, so it was a good thing that it also came with screws. I would have gotten 4-5 stars if it weren't for the fact that the height is 3/4 inches higher than the 15.75 inches indicated on the website and the box. Mine is 16.5 inches high, so instead of putting it on the intended shelf at eye level, it now sits in a closet on the floor which is very inconvenient.. I would not have purchased it if I had known the true height but not worth the effort of returning. 3
