Customer Reviews
Nice storage for Espresso Point Pods.
Purchased it for storage for my Lavazza Point Espresso machine pods. They fit fine. Couldn't put it under the machine as it's heavy and the box is plastic but fits fine under the toaster. Nice product.
5Love it!
Looks great under my Keurig, and has plenty of storage for pods. I have attached 2 photos. If you place the pods in straight the door slides out easily.
5I don t recommend this.
I hate writing bad reviews but I felt like I needed to do this. This k-cup drawer was supposed to be sturdy. It said you could put your Kerig on top. But, it bows a little. My biggest issue is that when you open the drawer k-cups fall behind the drawer. The drawer DOES NOT come all the way out. So the only way to get the cup back is to empty the drawer, jam your hand down in there as best you can and pull the cup until pops out. It s frustrating and I m already looking to buy a different drawer. I ve included pictures of the issue and what my hand looks like every single time I have to do this! The drawer doesn t close all the way when a cup gets back there. I wouldn t recommend this drawer unless you re willing to empty it out every few days and retrieve a fallen cup. As for me, I m fed up.
2Flimsy Plastic is a big disappointment
I purchased this because I bought my son a red Keurig for his college apartment and it was the only red one I saw. As others said, it is not an exact match. I am very disappointed because this is cheap plastic. I should have read more reviews, but this line in the description led me to believe it was metal: "Forget the cheap wire mesh holders with sticky drawers and flimsy construction" However, it is flimsy plastic. I've had both the mesh and the Keurig metal pod holder and their construction is far superior. Save your money and buy a black or silver that doesn't match, but is well-made. The description should be updated to make it clear this is PLASTIC.
1May not work for many people.
The concept is good, but:The standard distance from a countertop to the bottom of the wall cabinets above is 18 inches. Keurig Series 1 and Series 2 single serve coffee makers will fit in that space beneath your wall cabinets, and there is just room to lift the lever that operates the Keurig machine (ie, the lever that allows you to insert a k-Cup pod). However, if you buy this drawer unit and sit your Keurig machine on top of it (as is illustrated in the "Mind Reader" description), it elevates the Keurig machine enough that the Keurig lever mechanism can no longer be operated -- it hits the underside of your wall cabinets.
2Fast access, color does not match the red k55
Does the job and fast Access to the k cups. However -1 for the color. Is a lot brighter then shown and does not match the red Kureg k55. The finish is plastic, not metal as what it looks like in the pictures
4For my DeLonghi Dolce Gusto
It's originally for the Keurig cups but I use it for my Dolce Gusto and they fit just fine. It's convenient and hassle free. I just open the drawer grab a cup and put it in my machine, presto. And I don't worry about counter space because it's big enough to hold my machine, a stack of cups, a coffee pod carousal tower and tin of sugar packets all on top. It's perfect.
5Do Not buy!!
Okay so first off this product looks good in the photo right? Well it looks nothing like that when you actually open it up....it s way thicker and the color is off and the cheap plastic it s made out of will more than likely break under the weight of your coffee machine! Save yourself from the headache I now have in returning this product!
1My hero.
Just got it and set it up. Holds my Kcup units well and fits my refillable pods too. I also put some tea bags and packets of sweetener in the empty sections. Just lay them down shingle style. The drawer slides very well. My counter is better organized and looks so much better and more convenient. I use it under my BUNN My Cafe MCU and it is sturdy enough to hold it up. There is a slight sag though and it would not work with a very heavy coffee maker. Those who have issues probably are setting a too heavy brewer on it. My brewer weighs without water and coffee poured into it 7 lbs 5 oz according to my scale and loaded with water and coffee ready to brew is probably around 8 lbs. So, before ordering this weigh your brewer. A heavy brewer would cause too much sag and impede the opening and closing of the drawer. If you want to use it with a heavier brewer I would place a cutting board or some such on top so the weight is born by the sides and not the middle of the cover. It will not support a heavy brewer on its own, even though there is ample room on top for it to sit. A board or some such on top that rests on the vertical sides but does not impede the drawer opening would fix that issue.
5It is sturdy enough and most importantly
I have bought these before and always paid much more, but this one is ideal for my big Keurig. It is sturdy enough and most importantly, there is sufficient space in the drawer to hold the k-cups without interference at the top when sliding open and close. It's easy to keep clean and holds a generous supply of coffee. It has divider rows that make it easy to store several different kinds of coffee.
