Exactly What I WantedI recently replaced our pillows, so bought these to help protect the new ones - and to protect us from allergens and other things that I'd rather not think about that are sometimes harbored by down pillows. The pillow protectors are soft white cotton, don't make any crinkling sounds as some cases do, and the zipper is correctly installed and works easily. I washed them as soon as I opened them and they are now even softer, and held up well to my washer (cold water) and drier. My new standard-sized down pillow fit inside nicely, and with a decorative outer pillow case, look fluffy and inviting on our bed. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase. For this inexpensive price and good service, you can't go wrong.5good quality for the price better quality than I expected especially given the price...I actually bought them to wash delicates in the washing machine. I have been using those delicates wash bags but found the bags often too small and they ended up with holes a lot. I thought cheap zippered pillow protectors might do the trick. However, these proved to be too good to be just wash bags. So we use them at pillow covers. We are very happy with them. There were a lot of loose threads inside the zippered area so I basted them down. I would have given them 5 stars except for the unfinished edges inside the case by the zipper. 4Great pillow protectors!!I received the pillow protectors and I immediately washed them-as I do with all bedding items.I had also ordered a different brand of pillow protectors and they arrived same day.I have all goose down pillows and allergies, therefore I may at times use two protectors on each pillow(I keep six to eight down pillows on my bed)After drying both type pillow protectors, I pulled out of dryer and will only say that your brand and style won me over!!The other protectors were terry cloth on outside and a rubber type inside.They are NOT good for down pillows- they did not breath and only puffed up from air inside of original goose down pillows that I bought for.Making my pillows seem inflatable and possibly great swimming pool floaters !They were just atrocious to try and sleep on and completely filled with air making the entire reason that I love down pillows - disappear. As, I had the pillow protectors for over 2 month, washed them on light delicates, and they retain their form, ability to deter dust mites (as far as I know). I used this zippered case to hold an old Comforel pillow that was leaking bits. A new Comforel pillow was way too large/overstuffed for me. I have looked for zippered pillowcases for months. My search terms somehow precluded the finding of these. Using 'pillowcase' probably part of that problem.This case is cool and comfortable. The zipper has no impact on comfort. 4Zipper splits openAfter the first use, I went to put the pillow protector back on one of my two pillows and the zipper stopped working. The zipper just splits apart and won't stay together. I have it on a standard pillow that isn't very fluffy and I fought with the zipper for 20 minutes until I finally gave up. It didn't last long!!1Winner of three brands tried.I purchased three brands in all to find the best quality. This one won hands down. I did not receive this as a product to review from the manufacture, so the the opinions are completely my own. I will list the other brands that I purchased though to help others know which I feel is the best buy.. Luxury Hotel Collection Plain Protectors-Zipper-King-white-Set of 2 (sold by: Bare cotton Corp.) and the next one was Zippered Pillow Protectors Hypoallergenic Cotton/Poly Breathable Pillow Covers Soft and Quiet _set of 2 king) White Pillow cases(sold by Bare Cotton Corp). Circle home brand had a noticeably higher thread count than the other two. The other two were fine for a basics quality in fact they seemed identical. The real winner for Circle home was that they were not that much difference in price. I would purchase this brand again.5Crap!Crap!! The zips busted within a month of use!! Should only be $2.50 at most! Spend more to get quality!!1That fresh you need!I like these protectors a lot. I wash them frequently and they still show no signs of wear. They bleach well, and the zippers are quality. Definitely a favorite for me. Keeps the pillows looking new, and for anyone with allergies, you must have these! Its like having a freshly laundered pillow.5My favorite pillow protectors!These fit my pillows perfectly. There's just enough material, its not too tight making the pillow feel stiff. It's not too loose where you can see it hanging out the end of your pillowcase or feel the extra material bunched up between the pillow and pillowcase. It's so comfortable you don't even know it's there.Once on the pillow the material is soft and glides easily into my pillow case without bunching up.I came on here to buy more but the price doubled, I bought a two pack of king size protectors a few weeks ago for $12.99.I also purchased the utopia 100% cotton pillow protectors to compare and these are much better.. The other ones are not sized correctly, they hang out the end of the pillowcase and extra material bunches up under pillowcase making them uncomfortable.. They also cling badly and are hard to get on the pillows.5A great product to cover our guest pillowsWe have 11 bedrooms in our summer house. Adding these covers was the perfect solution to keeping our investment (pillows) protected when used by multiple visitors . We are happy with the quality of the material and the workmanship of the cases. We purchased both regular and king size cases.5Work fine, seems sturdy. I don't have bad allergies, so I can't tell you if this will help your allergies, but in terms of good construction and ease of use--these seem good. I would say that I might consider getting the "queen" size rather than the "standard" size. The difference is only a few inches, but having the pillow protector be a little bigger is helpful for getting it on the pillow. If you don't have a pillow protector, I recommend getting one ASAP as drool, sweat, and odors and quickly permeate pillows. 5Badly StitchedThese covers just arrived and I decided to check the fit prior to cold washing them. Really happy I did, seems the seams where left a but unseemly. Rather shoddy work, especially on the zipper, and had it gone through even a gentle cycle as is they would have fallen apart. I'm going to sew them up correctly myself as returning them wouldn't be cost effective and otherwise seem okay.3
