    Thinner, smaller than originalsIt has the Hoover platinum box, but it does have bags that are printed in faded blue instead of the original black -- AND they are much smaller and thinner than my originals. I don't know if Hoover has downgraded them or if this is a cleverly disguised knockoff. I will be trying them, but I do wish I had not ordered 2 boxes up front since they seem to be questionable.3No complaints regarding this bag.This bag is designed for the worst full size vacuum cleaner I have ever purchased for my own home and carpets. The bag is fine. It is a good design and it eliminates virtually all mess at bag change events. The vacuum cleaner however is impossible to push/use on high quality plush carpets. I bought the vac based on a Consumer Reports. I can only conclude that muscle men are still testing at CR instead of women. There is no way they could have tested and rated this machine so high if tested on plush carpet over a good pad and operated by a senior woman. I dread pulling the machine out of the closet anticipating arm, shoulder and neck pain later that day and the next. Machine works okay on hard floors. The vac is tool-less which is why a smaller vac lacking a power head is included. The small unit flops over constantly for lack of a good size base or wheels. But the bags must have been designed by a genius! The bags are as good as Miele bags maybe better.4It's in the bag! These are such a glam item, what can I say other than they hold the debris you vacuum sucks up--as expected. They do have a large capacity and are not complicated to remove and replace. Having a dog that sheds just because he can, means I need these large bags. The HEPA filter does not stop doggie odor emitted while vacuuming. This could be to my misunderstanding of its function. If that is not the case, then do what I do and suck up some baking soda during the cleaning process. I would recommend because these are made specifically for my vacuum. 3It is lightweight and easy to use and the only thing I have to ...I just read some reviews about the handle breaking on these vacuums and I wonder if people are lifting their vacuum and carrying it around incorrectly. There is a carry handle on the vacuum and it should only be lifted with that. I always lift my Hoover via its carry handle, not the handle used when operating the machine, and after owning this Hoover for several years now I have to say it has never given me any grief. It is lightweight and easy to use and the only thing I have to do occasionally is "adjust" the bag when the red warning light comes on notifying me that the bag is full when in reality, it isn't. Sometimes this happens within a couple days of installing a new bag so I know it cannot possibly need changing. I figured out what was happening and it is cat hair clogging the upper part of the bag. If I have a lot of cat hair to clean up this can happen because the hair does not fall to the bottom of the bag like normal weight debris will...instead, it gets sucked into the bag and stays right there at the top and after a few days of that happening, the change bag warning light comes on because the cat hair stuck at the top of the bag makes the machine think the bag is full.The little canister cleaner is not quite as wonderful as the upright--it's actually quite basic--but it comes in handy for cleaning out the car.5Bag did not fit properly into the slotIn the last two boxes I bought some of the bags did not slide in the slot properly due to the width of the cardboard being a hair off. I had to trim the cardboard along the side to get it to fit in the slot. I've been getting these from Amazon for a long time and never had this problem before. Not happy!1Easy Installation & Long-lasting Great Bags.. they're long/large & hold a lot so they last a pretty long time. The design of the interior lever that holds the bag in place makes it really easy to install the bags as well (unlike most upright vacs where you have to push the darn ring onto the port). 5The most effective bag for this vacuum! Thank heavens I can still find these bags! I love this vacuum and these bags do a really nice job. I can't find them in the store anymore. 5I'm been very happy with the incredible prime delivery serviceYes-this is a knock-off. This is not the Authentic Hoover vacuum bag. I'm tired of staged Amazon reviews and knock-off products. I'm been very happy with the incredible prime delivery service, but if the product is not what is advertised, it is not worth it to me.1Great purchase!I have been looking everywhere for these bags!!!! I have bought so many bags and they all happened to be the wrong sizes so I gave up trying to buy them I stores and bought them amazon. They work great! I am so excited to finally be able to use this vacuum again.5Not the Hoover brand as advertised.The Amazon listing shows a box labeled Hoover Platinum Type Q HEPA. The product shipped by B&M Housewares is labeled "EnviroCare Technologies". It says Type Q. It does not say HEPA. In this time of stay at home orders, it is clear that B&M housewares is not shipping what the listing displayed.2Not as advertisedProduct not shipped as indicated. I purchased this SPECIFIC item because it had country of origin as USA and they are plainly stamped CHINA. I paid a bit more for these because other reviewers had said the Chinese made crap wasn't quite as thick and that is true, they are a bit thinner. I hope they work because I am out of bags and have to keep this order. I will be hesitant to even order this item from Amazon again, which is a shame because they have the best prices and shipping. However, if something says it's made in the USA, it should be. The original bags I have always purchased are quite a bit thicker so I am doubtful these will keep the dust under control.2Bargain!!!I got these Hoover vacuum bags for a great price!! I bought them used from the Amazon Warehouse seller, free shipping & came out to just over $8. At the Hoover website, they were being sold for $10 + $5 for shipping, so just over $15 with taxes for a brand new box of 2 bags! So for almost half off what they re worth, I got the same quality, for brand new bags! It seemed as though someone bought the wrong bags & didn t realize till they opened the box! The box was a little torn & messed up, but the vacuum bags were in perfect condition, brand new! Didn t even look like they had been unfolded before!! So I am VERY happy with this purchase, I will definitely buy again & would recommend this to anyone looking for these vacuum bags!! I had a little trouble getting the bag in the vacuum, but that s because I ve never replaced one before, my husband got it in with no problem.5I am afraid that soon it won't be available on Amazon either and my vacuum will be useless. Other than the difficulty to procureBecause my vacuum is over 5 years old, it is difficult to find any bricks and mortar store that sells this filter. When I go on line to various large companies (Walmart, Target, Sears) they report that this product is in house. It never is and I am always told to go on line. I am afraid that soon it won't be available on Amazon either and my vacuum will be useless. Other than the difficulty to procure the product, it does a very good job of vacuuming and retaining the dust within the bag. It does tend to fill easily and quickly.3
