For decoration only I purchased this thinking it would be similar to the heavy bed spreads you find in motels and such. However, this blanket is very light and thin. Using it at night provides no warmth. It is nice looking, I like the colors, however the stitching is cheap. I had it for about a month before some of the quilting threads started coming loose. All in all, I would recommend this product for decoration, but not for practical use of a blanket. 3Beautiful quilt, but stripes are wavy in several areas. This might just be a fluke with the one I received. The colors are less vibrant than in the picture, but the colors are still very attractive. I purchase the king to use on my queen bed and it fits more like a bedspread. My problem with it is that in several places, the stripes are not sewn straight, so there is a waviness that doesn't look right. I am returning it for this reason. 3Good quality and looks nice on the bed. I was pleasantly surprised. I ve never ordered this brand before so I did not know what to expect. The quilt is made of strong material, the craftsmanship is good, and it s a reasonable weight. It s not a heavy quilt per se, but the weight and construction are comparable to more expensive brands. I washed the quilt and shams before using, and everything came out looking good. I like the pattern and that the quilt is reversible. I wish the shams were too! The stripes match everything. Overall very pleased with this purchase. 5The quilt is nice enough, but the colors aren't as muted/sophisticated as ... BUYER BEWARE! Do NOT to wash this quilt or matching the pillow shams with any other items. The colors bleed a LOT and will stain everything in the same wash load. They are much, much brighter (as someone else commented, think college dorm decor) so I'm disappointed not to be able to use this quilt as I had planned. I'm using the blue striped reverse side for now, which is okay, but can't use the shams because they're not reversible and the colors are just over the top for my taste. The colors are gorgeous. It was just what I was looking to use in our guestroom. The quality seemed very nice. However, I washed it one time (I have other quilted bedspreads just like this that I have had for 9 years and they turn out beautifully.) This bedspread now has 5 small holes right in the center of the bed - hard not to see them!! I'm really disappointed. This is used on a guest room bed. Probably slept in less than a dozen nights - adults only. No animals in the room.I placed the order and on Feb 25th - so no exchange possible at this time. Little did I know that I would end up with a bedspread with holes. I will change my review to excellent if the seller sets this right.I don't know if the photos will show the holes well, but you can see them easily as soon as you enter the bedroom.Update: I wrote Amazon about my disappointment. They responded immediately and very graciously and refunded my money. I like the bedspread so much, I'm ordering it again and hoping for much better results. Well done Amazon in your customer service!!! 5Get it size larger to cover your bed I found no flaws. Shams have bows instead of zippers which I liked. I loved the colors. It's the right weight to use as a light quilt. BUT it does NOT cover the bed as shown. I bought a queen for a double bed and had to buy a bed skirt because it doesn't come down on the sides. This one shows the spread nearly to floor at foot of bed. Must be they didn't pull it very far up! 5Not happy. Going to complain through Amazon. 1A pretty reversible bedspread This quilt looks beautiful on the bed in our summer home. It really brightens up the room which has tan walls and dark wood cabinets. It's well made. The set includes a quilt and two pillow shams. It's reversible and I like both sides. It's nice to be able to vary the look. The side shown has multicolored stripes. The reverse has stripes in various shades of blue and brown/tan. The blend is predominately blue.The stripes make it easy and quick to put on the bed which is a big help in a summer home where there are many more fun things to do than making beds! 5Virant colors ruined when it was laundered. I LOVE this quilt . . . so much that I reordered another one WHEN I took the first one to be laundered and the color leached out and turned it into a limp thing. The directions say "Machine wash", by the way. I am going to try to return it since this is the first time it has been laundered/cleaned. I am hoping that when I have it dry cleaned the rich, vibrant colors will remain because it now looks old and faded. 2Beautiful Bed Cover Great Price! I'm thrilled with this purchase. I needed something for our guest room, and now it looks amazing. This lightweight quilt pulled in colors from our wine colored drapes, to the light blue carpet perfectly. I also believe you could use the blue side of this comforter, it seems to be stitched in a way that it could be reversible. The sham however is not reversable. I saw a review that said theirs didn't wash well, but I washed this on gentle, with cold water, and all is just perfect. Nicely made, worth the money! 5
