Don t botherIt s really cheaply made and it was falling apart out of the box. The wood was crumbling around staples that held it together. It wasn t dented or banged up from a shipping. The material is simply weaker than balsa wood. I will be returning it first thing tomorrow and I wont be getting another one.1Should have listened to the negative reviewsThis just simply isn't worth the money. The plexiglass is very flimsy--I thought it might at least be a little thick and sturdy. The cardboard backing is obviously just a cost cutting move and mine arrived a little torn. The frame itself seemed to be held together OK but I should have listened to everyone complaining that its just paper glued on the frame. I thought they were exaggerating. They were not. It does not look like wood. It looks tacky. You'll also have to install your own hardware. This whole thing was basically one giant cost cutting measure. You can spend basically the same money at Michael's and get a better product by a mile. Save yourself the money on a return and look elsewhere.2Not the highest quality but I'm satisfiedThere's a black scuff on one corner but I'm going to pretend that it's a part of the frame's "antiqued" charm and leave it. Mine, at 12"x17" came with glass. Many others have said theirs came with plexi-glass, but when I ordered I was told that sizes smaller than 12"x18" come with glass (meaning anything larger doesn't), so I wonder if some people just aren't reading or noticing that.I'm overall pretty pleased with this, although it's clear it isn't the highest quality frame. For me, I needed the design/color, size and price to all be what this delivered, so since mine came undamaged, I'm happy with it.4This is plastic not glass and requires lots of tools. The ad lies.The comments on the ad for these frames say that there is a glass pane but in reality it is plastic. Also you have screw in the hooks yourself so this frame requires assembly. You need wire cutters and a screwdriver. The only reason I didn t send this piece of crap back is because I needed it in time for a specific reason and didn t have time to get a new one.1I could not flatten the poster out despite my best efforts. I will be returning Absolutely awful. Every panel of the frame was chipped and the acrylic 'glass' is cut very crudely. The acrylic also had a bend in it which created a mark. Also, my 24" x 36" poster did not fit into the frame properly. I believe this frame's height is a little below 36". I could not flatten the poster out despite my best efforts. I will be returning. 1Great value!This frame was better than I expected from some of the reviews. Many complained of the frames being broken or scratched or very poor quality. I didnt experience any of that. It was packed very well, and arrived in perfect condition. Yes, if I was going to be nitpicky one corner of the frame was a very tiny bit off and didnt meet perfectly. But this frame is priced at a level that you are going to have those issues. I dont notice it at all if I'm not looking for it. I was very pleased with the frame for the price. I put a completed puzzle in it and it looked great. I bought a 20x27 white smooth, and was very happy with the $170 I saved from a custom framing quote even with a big coupon.As far as any negatives, I wasnt crazy about the plexiglass included. It was flimsy and not as clear, nor as non-glare, as I'd like. However it is acceptable for the price.Overall I'm very happy with my purchase, and I will buy another.5Good frame but you have to cope with removing and replacing cheap flat glazier clips - ugh!This is a good frame for the price. Solid, nice looking and well packaged. I gave it 3 stars though because it uses the old fashioned, cheap, flat glazier clips to hold the picture backing in place. Most frames these days have rotating levers that attach the back with the frame. These cheap glazier clips are a pain in the butt to remove and worse to replace. Please update this frame with better technology to hold the back to the frame.3Nice Basic Frame for Movie Posters or What Have you. I bought this for a lithograph print of video game artwork. It fits perfectly and there are no noticeable gaps around the picture. It's a fairly basic no frills frame so I don't understand the costs of these things...But it works, was packed quite well, although there was a little friction at the corners from shipping that wore the paint off a little, but it feels solid and my picture is safe now so I'm happy. 4Good value frame! Packaged very securely. Arrived in perfect condition. Great value. The color is a little darker than I would have thought for a color described as walnut. It is more of an espresso color with some of the wood grain visible. At the joints, some of the light composite wood is visible at the cut edges but not enough to bother me. The backing is held in place by those bendable metal tabs which indicates to me that it may not be the highest in quality and durability. But for the price, I'm very happy with the purchase! 44th one and loving themThis is the 4th frame I have bought from Craig Frames. Well packaged and I mean WELL. I use them to showcase flyers I make for events which bands sign. Everyone comments on how well the frames look. Will be buying more in the future.Update...I now only buy this frame and have roughly purchased 12 or so. They always come boxed in the photos I've included and none have been damaged thus far. Still highly recommend!5If you are saying to yourself "this won't be too bad," you are wrong. Don't trouble yourself with it.Okay, here is my experience. Saw the negative reviews, mostly about poor frame joints. Figured I could probably easily fix that if I happen to get a rotten one. Well, of course, one of the two I received had a 1mm gap between two of the joints (at least it wasn't both frames?). Well, it wasn't too hard to fix, although I really shouldn't have had to. The real thing that irked me beyond belief was the huge scratches on both of my plastic panels. That's something that I can't easily (or cheaply) fix. Now I'm going to have to go buy replacements at my local hardware store...sigh. The worst part was the panels had a protective covering on one of their two sides. These protected sides had no scratches at all (of course). So why on Earth would they not have protected the other side? It's just poor design.1Cheap looking, not niceThis looks cheap. It looks like wood-print sticky paper stuck onto particle board. The wood grain does not line up at the corners and there is noticeable gaps in each of the corners. However, my biggest issue of all is the thin, flimsy piece of plastic they have as the front. I guess I wasn't expecting glass at this price, but it's almost like saranwrap it's so thin, scratch-able and bendy. It's just cheap and bad looking.1Maybe I can t read well anymore!I know I should not assume but I did. I assumed there would be glass in the frame. No it is a acrylic. That s what acrylic facing means. I also did not expect 2 frames. All in all for the price, even though there are 2 frames included, I don t feel the quality is worthy of the cost. Although I think it was well made, it just feels cheaply made. I think not having the glass is what did it for me. Unfortunately the frame was for a surprise presentation to someone we wanted to honor. Because I felt the frame was not deserving of the award or the person being honored I have since gone to the expense of having the award framed professionally. Sorry to the manufacture and sellers but that is the way I feel.1
