Does not stick to wall!I followed all the directions on the package (cleaned off the wall with the provided alcohol wipe, applied adhesives, pressed firmly against wall for at least 1 minute, let sit for 24 hours, etc) and this still fell off my wall within 3 days of me hanging it up.It was only holding my electric toothbrush and a bottle of mouthwash. The product fell off the wall and now my electric toothbrush is broken from the fall and there was listerine all over the floor.I want my money back.1Amazing !!! These things are amazing and hold strong ! They don't rust and easy to clean 5Water-Resistant Strips: lie detector says that was a lie!I bought mine to hold my razor, shaving brush, and shaving soap (well under the weight limit). This was awesomely useful, right up until the thing came crashing down. Randomly. Mid-day. 10 hours since my last shower.I should have bought a caddy that attaches with suction cups instead.Do yourself a favor and save $8: don't ignore the high concentration of 1 star reviews!1Shelf keeps falling downI felt compelled to write a review as a PSA as the shelf regularly falls off, and my shampoo/conditioner/etc. come crashing down with a super loud boom. The sticky material is strong enough to hold the shelf up, but the way they designed how the shelf connects to the adhesive hooks means that any time you so much as try to take a bottle off the shelf, the whole thing comes crashing down. We've been taking the bottles out to pump them and being very careful, but it still regularly comes down, and it's a massive bummer trying to wake up only to have a heavy bottle fall on your foot and wake up and the crash wake up the whole house from the noise. The shelf pretty much works if it's completely out of the way and you never ever touch it.1Great for makeup too!Great for organization! I bought this to store makeup in my tiny NYC apartment with literally zero storage/cabinet/drawers. It's perfect! Super fast and easy to install, holds firmly, looks pretty nice for the price. I also got a command razor holder to hold my brushes/eyeliner. Very happy! Might have to order a ton of these for all around the house.5Doesn't fall and has many uses.I have tried many shower caddies and the ones with suction cups ALWAYS fall. These have multiple uses.5Good ProductI bought these after using other 3M Command shelves in a different shower and after months of use they re still holding.Like the metal Command shelves I purchased these plastic ones also have design flaws. There are very large openings at the sides for water drainage that allow smaller things to fall through if bumped.I included this in my other review, and it bears repeating here. When hanging the shelf the instructions say not to use household cleaners to clean the surface. Ignore that. First clean the surface VERY WELL with whatever it takes to remove all dirt, soap scum, and hard water scale, then RINSE well to completely remove all residue, dry, and finally clean the area with the included alcohol pad. Once the alcohol has completely evaporated install the shelf. You should also clean the back of the mounting base with alcohol and let it evaporate prior to applying the Command strips.A side note. I used to work for a company that was acquired by 3M. 3M makes a broad variety of products and one of the things we were told when we were acquired is that 3M does not make the least expensive products, but we make the best products. I personally disagree with that about some of their products, but that attitude is pervasive throughout the company. If you do have a problem with brackets breaking or tapes not holding I suggest you call 3M customer service, I have no doubt that they will try to make it right.5Can use for more than just the shower!I should start off by saying that I don t actually use this in the shower...I was actually looking for something to hold small items next to my bed (like my phone with the charging cord attached) and it works perfectly! It s extremely easy to install, just like all other Command products, and is actually a pretty big size and has multiple holes to drain water (smaller flower petal type designed ones in the middle and two large openings on each end s side). This works perfectly for me to be able to be able to slip my charging cable through one of the holes and have my phone sit in it charging, and when I unplug my phone, the charger stays organized and upright because the head of the charger doesn t fall back through the hole- it would be perfect for cord organization and easy access!Being that it s hung on my wall, it s not unattractive and actually blends in pretty well/is pretty clear in color. I ve also put a small book, febreze, and cold medicine in it, so I would say it can hold a decent amount of weight. I think it would hold shampoo and conditioner bottles with no problem.Regarding some people not getting the bathroom command strips with their order- I did receive special bathroom strips with mine.5Command Shower Caddy My wife got really annoyed with the multitude of products we had in the tub area scattered around the edges. We used to have a rack that hung from the shower head but that rusted out so I was looking for something new.These shower caddies are amazing! I followed the directions and cleaned the part of the wall where they were going to be placed, stuck the Command Strip on, and let it dry for an hour before installing the caddy and loading it up. We have 2 installed in our one piece fiberglass tub/shower area (his & hers) and they easily hold several full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.The only word of caution I have it to make sure the caddies are properly installed on mounting clips (they slide on the clips) - when I didn't have it aligned properly the caddy looked like it was OK but did fall off the clips when loaded up. It gives a very satisfying "click" when locked in properly, then you can even shake it a little bit to make sure.Overall, these things are perfect for our use and I highly recommend them. 5Kiss the rusty shower caddy goodbye!If you're like me and don't enjoy a rust filled shower, you have one of two options:1. Spend hundreds, even thousands of dollars on a stainless steel shower caddy that still rusts over time (stainless steel rusts at a slower rate and lower quality steel sources may rust just as fast as regular metal caddys).2. Buy something cheap and plastic that won't rust at all but may be susceptible to mold and mildew depending on drainage and how dry you try to keep your bathroom.Well I don't know about you but I'm not spending hundreds or thousands for a few more rust free months, so I'm going the plastic route. I have a good feeling about these because there is PLENTY of drainage in the bottoms, it isn't one small hole in the back or on the side that you hope never gets covered and that all of the water will drain out of and not just stubbornly find a corner to rot in, I looked at a bunch of products before this one that had that honestly stupid design and figured these would be the same and I would just have to deal with frequent cleaning, not the case, thank god. It's more holes than plastic instead of all plastic with one little hole. Installation was easy enough, instructions are easy to follow. Can't rate the adhesive yet due to just installing it but we have the soap dish design and I knocked that thing really hard with my arm on accident once (from the bottom up) and it flew off the hook with the adhesive 100% okay so I think this will be just as good. It also looks sooo much more tidy and organized compared to our old nasty caddy, super happy with how it looks. I was careful to put it in a place where it isn't likely to come into contact with a lot of water, to protect the adhesive and deter mildew/mold, and I try to get the moisture out of the bathroom as quickly as possible by leaving the door open and exhaust/bathroom fan on, the drier you keep your bathroom the less mildew/mold can live in it. We'll see how yuck these get with the coming months, if they do at all!5WAY better than the hanging shower baskets I'd have to replace every six months!This is such a great shower caddy! It fits all of our shower products, and it does so neatly with room to spare.It's also stable, sturdy, and I can just slide it off the clips to wash it if I need to!I also got the command soap dish, and my shower is looking so organized.My current setup isn't so friendly to my former solution of the baskets that hang from the shower head. I was hesitant to try this because I figured it wouldn't hold, and I'd probably end up with a huge mess on my hands. I'm very happy I was wrong5great shower caddy I wanted to put a Shower Caddy in the shower to hold my Clarisonic facial brush and my facial soap. This is the right size, with lots of space. I followed the directions, and the Caddy is on there firmly. We have ceramic tile in the shower. I used the included alcohol wipe, pressed the Shower Caddy strips to the wall, lifted the Caddy off the hooky things, and pressed against the tape strip things for a full 30 seconds. Then I left the shower Caddy off of the hooky strips for a full 24 hours. (Used the shower that night, but the strips were not hit with direct water spray.) The next night I put the unit on and have been using it since. I really love it. I have been happy with all the Command products I have used. However, it says "clear frosted" on the Amazon description, and what I got was not clear, it was white. It's still attractive, though. 5Solid Caddy...Won't fall and scare the bejesus out of you in the middle of night. Vent openings on the bottom are a tad too bigIf you, like myself, have ever been violently awaken by the sound of a suction cup shower caddy explosion in your bathtub in the middle of the night then this is the caddy for you. I came to the decision that I had to buy something more stable and secure after experiencing multiple suction cup shower caddy fails that all conveniently happened at around 3 am. I'm also a big fan of command tape and have used their products on multiple occasions to hang picture frames with great success. I followed the directions, which involves putting adhesive pads on the shower wall and firmly pressing the caddy against it, then letting it sit for a day, and so far I have not had to experience another sudden "night terror" caused by weak suction cups.My only complaint against this is that the holes are quite large on the bottom corners of the caddy. I get the whole ventilation thing but they're a bit too big. I want to put my razor in there along with a bar of soap and if your not careful they both can fall out. I know the picture just has shampoo bottles and what not and it's not necessarily meant for smaller objects like a razor and a bar of soap but I think it could have easily accommodated both if they just made the openings on the bottom of the contraption a little bit smaller.Overall, you will no longer have to "perform a sweep" of your house with a steak knife at 4 in the morning looking like Jodi Foster in Silence of the Lambs searching for Buffalo Bill because your shower caddy came crashing down..Next time you hear a crash at 4 in the morning, rest assured, it's not the shower caddy, someone is definitely in your house...Oh, and the holes are too big on the corners.4
