Nothing but lint ! I washed these and there was nothing but lint all over the washer and then the dryer. I was still picking chunks and I mean chunks of lint off of these even as I was folding them. They are soft but between the lint in the washer and then in the dryer, I wouldn't recommend these. 1Very nice size These cloths are so colorful and they are so sturdy. I can not for the life of me pick out towels correctly. But I was desperate so ordered these. So glad I did! The trim work is attractive and the extra hook to hang them could be handy if you had a nice hook in shower. The weight is nice and they are not all scratchy and well ugly. These are so soft and very nice. The different colors worked out well for all the guests we had over the holiday. They were a hit. 5Nice quality and thicker than I expected for the price Very nice, soft colors, although I didn't care as much about the particular colors as the fact that half are pastel and half are darker shades which is what I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised that after washing these face cloths they came out soft (I never use fabric softener) and felt a little thicker than new out of the package. I did not want super thick wash cloths, and these are just about perfect for me.They even came packaged attractively in a nice tote type bag and I think that makes them "giftable". As far as durability, only time will tell. In my opinion, 6 cotton wash cloths of this quality for this price is one heck of a good deal. Yes, they are made in China. To give the manufacturer credit, the package tells you to wash them before using them and I feel that is good advice for any new cloth product.The only criticism is that the woven band on the one end is quite a bit thicker than it needs to be and that means less area of the "terry" part of the cloth. 5EXCELLENT HIGH QUALITY WASHCLOTH I've bought several other brands of washcloths but haven't been overly impressed with the quality, until I found these! These washcloths are a excellent quality. They are thick and very soft. They are a large size cloth and are perfect for bathing use. I am definitely buying another pack of these! You will love them. UPDATE DECEMBER 2017: Just received my second set of these washcloths and they remain an A+ purchase! 5Very Pleased, Although There are Pros and Cons This is for the Cleanbear Washcloths 6 pack. These arrived nicely packaged. They are somewhat larger than our other washcloths, but only by an inch or so. They are very plush and soft, which is both a pro and a con: they feel wonderful to use, but if you were expecting something to "scrub hard" with, they would just barely be suitable. They are so soft, however, that my toddler-age grandchildren don't mind having their faces washed, so that is a plus! The colors have not faded or run in the washing machine and the cloths are just as soft after several washes. They are nice and thick, again both a pro and a con because they feel and look great but can sometimes feel a bit large and bulky. We hang them on a towel rod after use and they dry fairly quickly, at least by the next morning. They are also attractive in shape and color so they look nice on the shelf and towel rod. Overall I am very pleased with these washcloths. 5Attractive towels, but not very absorbent I wish I had paid more attention to the reviewers who complained that this towel is not very absorbent. They are right. It's not. I'm used to 100% cotton towels. These are some kind of blend. The colors are perfect (for my bathroom) as is the size -- I like that they are sort of long but narrow. Perfect for the towel holder near the bathroom sink. I also like the way they wash. No color fading and no shrinkage.But when you wipe your wet hands on these towels, they just don't immediately dry them. It's like drying your hands on a pair of nylon stockings or maybe a polyester napkin. The water kind of beads and it just doesn't feel very good. Your hands are still damp. You rub a second and a third time and then your hands are sort of dried off, but then again ... not really.Only you can decide if you are more concerned with how the towels look (excellent) or how they dry (not so hot.) I'm using them for now, but looking for a set just like them, only in 100% cotton. 2Love the loops to hang these on a hook Update a year later:Still great! Just as good as when we bought them. We use them to wash the kids in the tub, and I also use to wash and dry my face. We use each one time before washing so these have been washed probably 50 times over the last year and still look good. No lint issues like others had. Highly recommend.Original review: These are a great size. They wash up well (although I just purchased them, so cannot vouch for long term). I LOVE the little sewn-on loops so I can hang from a hook in my shower to dry. I also like how they are thin and dry quickly as my old washcloths were too thick and took a long time to dry. I also like the flower-like stitching pattern across the band. The only thing I don t care for is that these are sold in multi-packs with 6 different colors. I prefer a clean and consistent look to my linens and like them all to match. I also think the color palettes are a bit outdated. I got the deep color palette which is exactly as shown, but I wouldn t call those colors deep. Deep to me are jewel tones, rich and pigmented. I wish you could pick just one color and get six of those. Gray would be nice, as would white. I still might order some more though since I like the other aspects of these. 4The "Deep Colors" are not as in the picture. These cloths are great. I bought them as face/body cloths and they really do a good job. They hold the soap until you have washed everything. Then when you rinse the cloth you must rinse it a few times to get all the soap off, butwashing with these cloths is bliss and well worth the money. The only reason I only gave it four stars is becausethe colors are not deep as in the picture, more towards pastel. Washing them is not a problem. They get put inthe dryer with my towels and Voila, no problem. 4Pills horribly And, unfortunately, the lint pills stick tenaciously to the washcloths. No amount of washing or trips through the drier will dislodge the clumps. I'm 60 and have never experienced anything like this. The lint is impervious to the lint roller and even tape (I went over and over with strips of tape, pressing down hard, and still the pills wouldn't lift). What is this product made of, for god's sake? I can't explain the number of stars other reviewers have assigned to this complete waste of money, except perhaps they haven't put these pieces of crap in the washer yet. These are going straight to the rag box now. 1Super soft and bigger than a regular washcloth. I bought these wash clothes when I moved to a new home and was in need of new washclothes. These wash clothes are super soft. I did not notice much shedding after I washed them. They are definalty a little bigger then that standard washcloth but I like that. I like the multiple colors of the clothes and bought white towels to go along with them. I would defiantly buy more. I only have a 4 for durability because I have only used them for 1 day and I don t think that s enough time to give it a 5. I ll update my review in a few months to see if they deserve a 5. 5
