    Color not accurate I ordered the turquoise. They arrived and are not even close to turquoise or the pretty teal color they appear to be in the photo. Close to shade somewhere between light aqua and sky. Very disappointed in the color misrepresentation. They are solid as melamine usually is, but should not be used with nonstick pans. 1MELTED During Normal Kitchen Use! I puchased these thinking they'd be a nice colorful addition to the kitchen. They were, until THEY MELTED WHILE COOKING!There was no extreme use. There was no open flame or excessively high heat. There was no baking them in the oven or anything crazy like that. Just normal kitchen use.I've purchased many brands over the years, from inexpensive to professional quality, and I have never once seen utensils melt during the normal kitchen use they are supposed to be designed for. Not to mention how inconvenient it is to lose kitchen utensils in the middle of cooking!I would give these 0 stars if I could! It was a waste of money, and I will not purchase this brand ever again! No, I most certainly do not recommend this product to anyone! 1Thank heaven I found this I've always had old pieces of melamine in my kitchen and found that they don't scratch and don't shed disgusting little shreds of black plastic bits like the stuff they sell now. Delighted to be able to use an implement without having to eat pieces of it in my cooking. 5Plum utensil set These looked pretty good at first. The color was exactly what I wanted and each utensil was nicely sized.The problems are that the edges of them are sharp.. there is like a sharp seam that runs along the edge of the spatula and spoons. It actually scratched up my nonstick pans.Second problem is that after using them several times now, they get these white spots on them that I assume are from the heat of cooking, because the spots appeared during the first use and continue to appear. I have been using them for just barely 2 months.I wouldn't recommend these and am currently looking for a new set. It is so hard to find plum or purple colored sets... back to the search. 2You will love these utensils! Melamine makes the perfect material for cooking utensils. It is rigid enough to crush, scrape, blend, and break up lumps in whatever you are cooking. Yet it cleans easily and is very long lasting. It also has a generous spoon size for serving, and the turner is perfect for non-stick frypans as well as being rigid enough to easily flip eggs or burgers. You will love these utensils. 5Love them! I got some non stick pans for Christmas so I decided to buy these (in grey) to prevent my new pans from being scratched and these work great! They're very light weight, thick and sturdy, they're also longer than I expected but it really doesn't bother me. I haven't had any issues with them bending,breaking or melting. They also come with a hole on the end if you want to hang them up . Overall they're great spoons( and spatula) at a great price. 5Great set We were hard pressed to find the perfect utensil set that was similar to an old set we had. The handle shape was important and had to be just the right angle. Well this set gave us what we needed! Thank you 5Durable, Basic and simple just like my old ones I've been looking for replacements for my c. 90s melamine cooking utensils for so long! Most of the ones I find are too long or have silicone that punctures and peels or are metal and too complicated. These are just perfect, and the colors they come in are awesome. The lemon yellow is not super bright, it is a soft yellow that compliments my decor. 5I LOVE these! Years and years ago I bought this set in green and had always hoped I would find them in blue. (Yes, my kitchen is dark green and dark blue) I was thrilled when I found these. They wear and wear and even the green set that I have had for more then 15 years looks like new. These are definitely my "go to" kitchen essentials. I highly recommend them. 5My Favorites! Melamine is my favorite material for this type of item, as it is SUPER STRONG and does not bend or flex. This product has been around for decades and is superior to nylon or other plastics. I love the flipper as it is very thin (yet strong) at the tip, making it easy to scrape pans and also to flip crepes without damaging them. This teal color is AWESOME. The price is cheap and the tools are perfect - a great buy! 5
