Love ThemI've had these before and just love them. They're heavy duty and easy to get your hand all the way in for thorough washing. They're also terrific for making blended drinks such as smoothies -- especially as I use an immersion blender to make mine -- and if you make a big one that you can't finish in one sitting, you just pop on the cap and put it in the fridge for later. 5The Exact Same Glasses I Paid Much More For Over 20-Years Ago At A Much More Affordable Price!I originally bought glasses like this from a high-end kitchenware retailer in 1994. They were very expensive, even with my employee discount which was very generous. That was the first time I had seen these. Now, they're readily available and at a much more affordable price. I used my old set until this month, when I found I was down to my last 2 glasses. I saw these and thought that for the price they couldn't possible be the same or as well-made. Well, I was wrong! The only difference between these and the more expensive ones were the color of the lids and the price. 5Just the right sizeNice size...I use them to make "Overnight Oatmeal" and there is enough room to add toppings in the a.m. To prepare: the night before use 1/2c. old fashion (regular not quick) oatmeal also called Rolled oats plus 1/2 c. milk (flavored if you wish) ..mix and refrigerate. Next morning add plain or Greek yogurt (1/4 C. or more) plus choice of fruit ( banana, strawberries, raspberries or blueberries) plus a handful of nuts (walnuts, peanuts or almonds. ) You can also add honey if you like. Other extras to add before refrigeration are 2 tablespoons peanut butter or Nutella. Just make your own recipe with what you like. 5Description was wrongDescription was way off. The glasses were only 16 oz instead of 21. Very disappointing. 1update...keeps crackingUpdate Feb 23 2017...2nd one has now come out of dishwasher cracked. Must be the heat of dishwasher. Now one third of purchase is usuless. Have to downgrade. I suspect they will continue to crack. What a shame.One broke in dishwasher. No idea why. Others we've had still going strong after 25 + years. Still love them. Sturdy and perfect size for 12 oz drink with room for head. Lids make each one a storage unit 1Very nice cups for storage, but Not packaged wellLet me start off with this. The seller I bought these from didn t do a good job at packaging. When I opened the cardboard box, the item box was opened with the glasses exposed. So I m taking off a star. Thankfully everything was intact. Could of really used more packaging materials.These glasses seem to be made very well. I especially like the design of them. I ve seen reviews saying they don t hold as many ounces as advertised. That is false. I brewed 16 ounces of coffee and have room to spare.I make my coffee the night before so it s not diluted. Because I only drink iced coffee. I wanted something with a lid to store in the fridge every night.I also plan to use this to store loose tea. I also plan to use these for drinking beverages. So it s nice to be able to get 4 of these for a reasonable price.I hope to have these for a very long time. I really do like them so far. The craftsmanship seems to be there. 4Definitely recommend if you re looking for a sturdy LARGE glass.You can t find a glass this large in a store, I ve looked at many different places, they are all only 20 oz. these are large, easy to hold as it slightly tapers down so it s not so large to hold. Durable, I ve dropped them in the sink on accident and nothing, it s a thicker glass which Is helpful. 5DANGEROUSUPDATE - THREE YEARS LATER. Really loved these until one literally exploded. Over kitchen sink, it began slipping from my hand and forcefully bumped against another glass. Four large pieces landed in sink, but dozens of small chunks and TINY NEEDLE-SHAPED SHARDS scattered up to FIFTEEN FEET on carpeted floor. My blouse and arms were covered with FINE SAND-LIKE GRIT. We disposed of the entire set.ORIGINAL REVIEW. Perfect for my six-foot husband's hand but too big around for 5'6" me. Holds 20 ounces at brim but practical volume is 18 ounces. Thick glass is even heavier than a canning jar. I will definitely buy more in the future. 5Big strong glasses with lids.These are very large thick glasses that will hold lots of ice and liquid. They are some of the largest glasses I have ever seen, which is what I wanted so I could load them up with ice. The lids snap on securely. So these can double as storage containers, or can be taken on a car ride with the lid on to keep them from spilling.They were packed without any type of padding around the box they come in and the packing box so when I saw that I thought one or two might arrive cracked or broken but they made it intact. It would take more than a gentle bump to damage these since they are so thick.They are exactly what I had hoped they would be. 5
